Ingredients - Pepper, Red Chilli, Dhania, Haldi, Cumin, Fennel, Black Pepper, cumin, Mace, Stone Flower and Bay leaf

Chicken Chukka Varuval
Ingredients
- 500 gms chicken pcs
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tomato (ground)
- 1/2 tsp each of fennel seeds and cumin
- 2 Tbsp Zaiqa Madras Style Chukka Masala
- 2 tsp garlic (chopped finely)
- few curry leaves
- 100 gms small onions or shallots
- 6-7 whole fried cashews
- 2 tbsp clarified ghee or gingelly oil
- Salt to taste
Procedure
- Marinate the chicken with little Zaiqa Chicken Chukka masala, ginger garlic paste & salt for 30 mins
- Heat Marinated chicken, add tomato pulp and cook on high for 10 mins
- In a pan, add ghee/oil, splutter fennel seeds, cumin, curry leaves, chopped garlic and onions toss well.
- Add cooked chicken pieces saute well for few mins
- Add Zaiqa Chukka Masala, Cashews and saute on high for 5 mins. Serve hot
Mutton Chukka – Pressure cook Mutton with Tomato, Turmeric, Salt, little Ginger Garlic paste. Follow process the from step 3 onwards.

I have been a loyal customer of zaiqa spices from many years & have tried many of their spice mixes but butter chicken masala, chukka masala are my absolute favorites.
The masalas are quite potent, a little goes a long way& I simply love the way butter chicken masala dances on my tongue& the chukka masala will give a run to the chukka dishes we get to eat in most south Indian hotels.
Have tried the nayabae kalimirch& pepper BBQ spice rub too...they are also flavourful.
And the best part is the customer friendly packaging size where in I can try new masalas in smaller quantity and also the storage friendly packaging which makes it easy to store in the pouch itself.
